As a registered member of the JSE (a stockbroker) can execute your purchase or sale order through the JSE’s trading system. As with any share transaction, your broker will attempt to find a sell order for Satrix securities in the market that match against your buy order. Where the market does not provide an instant match Satrix has appointed official market makers who provide liquidity to the market for Satrix securities. Brokers have different pricing models so you will need to find out about the minimum fee and monthly fee.
If you wish to open an account with a member, you can contact the JSE for a list of registered memebers.
Satrix ETFs are also available through accredited Financial Service Providers. For a small commission, they offer the client independent investment and financial advice. FSPs also assist in: completion of forms, FICA requirements, redemptions, client information changes, etc.
If you require a list of Financial Service Providers, contact the Satrix Investment Plan (administered by AOS), on 086 1100 670 as well as Satrix@aospartner.com
