A Satrix ETF can be purchased though:

Primary market
When an investor purchases Satrix in the primary market the transaction will be directly with Satrix Managers. This is possible by way of a creation process.If you create with Satrix in the primary market you can do this by investing in the relevant Satrix product in multiples of 1 million Satrix securities.
You can create Satrix units in the following two ways:
- A creation in specie – When you create in specie you will deliver the underlying constituents (shares) that make up 1 million Satrix units (1 million Satrix units represent one basket) in exchange for 1 million Satrix units.
- A creation in cash – If you choose to purchase Satrix units in cash.
The redemption process is the same as the creation process, but in reverse.

To initiate the investment process please provide Satrix Managers with:
- FICA documentation
- A clear instruction including the date you would like to trade, the Satrix fund, the quantity in multiples of 1 million units (baskets) and if you would like to create or redeem in cash or specie.
Secondary Market
You can purchase Satrix in the secondary market through a broker or from the Satrix Market Makers (Deutsche Securities).
